Why choose our school?
At St Margaret Mary’s Catholic Primary School Randwick North, we recognise that children follow unique learning paths to accomplish their personal best. Our academic and co-curricular programs empower students to try new things, while our community engagement and resilience programs build confidence, social skills and emotional wellbeing.
The Brigidine values of justice, love, peace, inclusion and stewardship are the cornerstone of our school and combined with our celebrated relationship with God, enable students to become respectful citizens and lifelong learners.

Principal’s Message
Thank you for taking the time to learn about St Margaret Mary’s. As a thriving and well-connected school, we pride ourselves on being a community where every child is genuinely known, supported and encouraged to thrive.
Since joining the school in 2023, I have had the privilege of leading a dedicated team of educators who are committed to high‑quality, evidence‑based teaching. Our personalised approach to learning enables us to build strong relationships and ensure every student feels a deep sense of belonging.
At St Margaret Mary’s, we strive for academic excellence through our CARE vision – a commitment to being Collaborative, Accountable, Reflective and Engaged. These values guide the way our students learn, the way our teachers teach and the way our community works together.
Our strong connection with Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish enriches the spiritual life of our school. Grounded in the Brigidine tradition, we nurture a community shaped by compassion, stewardship and social justice.
We are proud of our partnerships with local early‑learning centres and our feeder Catholic High schools including Marcellin College, Brigidine College and St Clare’s College. These relationships support smooth transitions into Kindergarten and into secondary education. They broaden opportunities for our students while keeping them anchored in the warm, supportive environment that defines St Margaret Mary’s.
As we look to the future, I am excited by the possibilities ahead. Working alongside our families, we remain committed to nurturing a school environment where every child is valued, stretched, and supported to flourish in their learning, faith, and personal development.
Warm regards,
Mrs Kylie O’Donnell
Principal
