At St Margaret Mary’s Catholic Primary School Randwick North, students are encouraged to be actively involved in a wide range of decisions.
Within the classroom, student-driven learning enables students to be active participants in their learning journey, receiving and providing feedback on their learning, choice and direction.
The students from Years 1–6 are provided with opportunities to extend their leadership by being involved in the Student Representative Council. Within this role, they can become active decision makers within their classrooms or leaders across the school. Our senior students enjoy a wide range of leadership roles including School and Colour House Captains, Publicity and ICT Leaders and Faith and Justice Leaders. These roles engage our students in activities that help others and seek to make the world a better place.
